Conceptual Schema (ER model)

The ER-schema shows the highest abstraction level of the entities and their relationships.

Data modelling (data bases etc.) is based on the ER-schema so that each subentity type (eg. each waste/ material fraction) is an instance type of an abstracted type, inheriting basic attributes and relationships. This ensures minimal effort for programming for any new instance type, which will be needed in the course of the time.
